OFWW Playday Sign-up Procedure

 

1) OFWW members will receive an email at 5:00 AM Friday morning with a link to the Play Day Sign-up Sheet w/Tee Time Selection page in Golf Genius to sign up electronically for the following Tuesday playday. Thursday playday sign up email will be sent out at 5:00 AM on Sunday mornings.  The links are unique for each playday.  Cutoff to sign up for Tuesday play is Tuesday at 6:30 AM.  Thursday play cut off is Thursday at 6:30 AM.

 

2) Click on the link in the email to open the Play Day Sign-up Sheet w/Tee Time Selection on the GG Splash Page.

 

3) Select the Tee Time row and enter your name (No TBD’s and No SAME NAMES). You will have the opportunity to enter up to 3 additional players on your tee time.

 

4) You will have 10 minutes to complete your selection (s) before you are timed out. Please click the “Done” button when you are finished.

 

5) You will have the option to send a message to the Event Manager before you continue or sign-out. You can indicate if you want to change your default tee box for that round.

 

6) If you are signing up a second group, you will need to sign in with another Golfers name (he will become the captain) and repeating steps 3, 4, 5.

 

7) It is not necessary for OFWW Members to check in at the Pro Shop.  However, non-member guests must check in at the Pro Shop.  The Starter will note no shows, walk up players, record cart numbers and give a flyer to each group which will have the group Golf Genius ID access code.  Enter the GGID into the Golf Genius app to access your group’s scorecard to enter gross scores.  Make sure to hit Save Scores before proceeding to the next hole on the app.

 

8) Pro shop will make changes based on Starter notes and charge playing members the playday entry fee to their accounts.  Anyone who cancels AFTER the 6:30 AM Cutoff will still be charged and included in the appropriate Flight. Any Walk up players will be added to the appropriate GGID before the end of play.  Be sure and enter scores for all holes in Golf Genius for walk up players.

 

9)Starter will have scorecards available if your group wants to keep a paper copy of your scores to check against Golf Genius.  Do not submit paper scorecard to the Pro Shop.  Official scoring is by Golf Genius.

Flight and skins winners will be posted on the OFWW Member Portal under the Results tab.

 

10) The entry fee will be added to your monthly bill and winnings are paid out as a club credit.

 

11) The Pro Shop will enter participants scores into GHIN using Golf Genius.
